Work...

Started new job today. On first impressions it seems like it'll be a bit better than my last job, at least in this place the atmosphere seems happier and more chilled out. There doesn't semm to be the air of complete dispair that hangs around Vertex.
Hopefully I am right about this but I'll reserve judgement until I have to start taking calls and start getting lectured about stats *shudder* Unfortunately the phrases AHT, FOR and Wrap times will still be in my daily vocabulary - GAAAAAAH!

Yippee!!!

I got that job! I start on the 29th so I can no longer be classed as unemployed. Hozzah! Unfortunately it is call centre work again but hey, at least it'll pay the rent.
Apparently the interviewers were really impressed with my interview and didn't seem to realise I was talking the most unmitigated load of bullshit ever!
Thank goodness they didn't ask for any references from vertex.... heehee

Birdie Bath!

Gave Bart a dish of water to have a bath in today. She loves to have a bath but you can see how wet she ended up! (and my carpet too, lol!)

Anyone want a pet Cockatiel?

If the answer to the above question is yes, then you can have mine. She is driving me nuts today. She just WILL NOT SHUT UP!!!!
Something will have to be done soon, otherwise I will have to take matters into my own hands and inflict some sort of Doom upon her.
I am already rather stressed as it is because I have a job interview later on today and could do without Bart's constant tweeting!

Back Online!

Hello everyone!
Now living in Belfast. Finally got internet and phone installed so back online, Hozzah!
Just about settled in now, flat is really nice and in a nice area. Not had any luck so far on the job front unfortunately, but I have an interview on thursday so fingers crossed!
Also hopefully Adam will visit soon, seems like ages since I last saw him!

Things to do...

Leaving home tomorrow, feeling excited and also rather apprehensive that things go to plan.
Still got loads to do! AAAAARGGH! Here's my list of things to do (not necessarily in order of importance)
1)Wash clothes
2)Pack clothes
3)slot a few things in suitcase that I don't want to get broken
4)sort out cds
5)sort out everything in my room!!!!
6)Go to job centre to let them know COCs (hopefully this won't take too long, but knowing the job centre and their usual pfaffing about, I could be there for hours)
7)give Bart's cage a good scrub
8)organise travel cage for Bart
9) probably a load of other things that I'll suddenly remember in the course of the day
Not sure of the point of this post, other than trying to organise my brain
Supposed I'd better make a start on it all

Urgh

Feeling rather sick just now due to the copious amount of cider I drank last night.
Went out last night to meet up with a couple of mates from vertex (my ex-workplace!) who wanted to see me before I leave for Belfast (and i'm still not organised for that!).
It was a good night, drank lots of cider, played pool very badly! very much regretting the cider now though....bleah!
And now I have a load of housework to do
But think I should have some 'fizzy good' first to settle my stomach

P.S. *Note to Adam - I am missing you very much at the moment, hoping it won't be too long before I see you again
